Wilcox Family Funeral Home services a large number of Veterans,   we understand veterans’ needs, particularly when it comes to understanding and obtaining the burial benefits they’ve earned through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs   

Please provide the funeral home with a copy of the decedent DD214 documentation to verify military service.

We provide the following assistance for our Veterans family:

  1. Information obtaining to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits
  2. Request a United States flag.
  3. Obtain 1 Death Certification at no cost 
  4. Schedule a Military Funeral Honors ceremonies.
  5. Request the “Presidential Memorial Certificate”
  6. Monetary burial benefits if choose not to be buried in a VA national cemetery,
  7. Eligibility requirements for burial in a VA national cemetery.
  8. Requesting headstones or markers for a burial space in a private cemetery.
  9. Request replacement of military service medals, awards decorations and DD214 Form.

Military Casket

A true and authentic Military Casket has been created for our Veterans. Using the dress blue uniform fabric, or your uniform fabric of choice, and buttons, trim, cap device, and other personal embellishments, to completely line the interior. Also included are the Cover and Gloves, Sword, Branch of Service Flag, Register Book, Flag Bag, Honorable Service Display, Ceremonial Belt, and much more. The casket is also painted the same color of the uniform. Your Rank and Name will be embroidered in place of your branch of service at no extra charge.
