Obituary for Sarkis "Sammy" Kulhanjian

Sarkis "Sammy" Kulhanjian
Sam was born July 2, 1940 to Sarkis Kulhanjian and Maritza Davidian Kulhanjian and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1968, Sam and his wife Agnes (Meserlian) moved to South Florida and eventually settled in Cooper City. Together they raised two daughters, Lisa and Stacey Kulhanjian Thompson.

Sam was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, golf, spending time with family and friends, trips to Philadelphia and Disney World with the grand kids. He was also an outstanding caregiver.

Sam’s illness and passing on May 7, 2015 were unexpected. He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, son-in-law: David Thompson, grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Logan, and extended family members and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, please donate to one of the family preferred charities: St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church, Armenia Tree Project, or Vitas Community Connection. To Donate please go to the Donation tab.

A memorial service is planned to take place in Philadelphia
