Obituary for Thimitra Micale LaRoche
Thimitra Micale LaRoche, also known as Didi who was born on February 20, 1978; in Brooklyn N.Y. She was the daughter of Judith Mary LaRoche and Yanel Jean LaRoche. She was number four of eight siblings. Her siblings are Yanel aka (Yanou), Nadege, Guivard, Judith, Isabelle,
Sara, and Stanley.
Thimitra had a good life growing up, despite her health problems. She grew up studying the bible with her parents, and became a baptized Christian at the age of 15. She was a protector of the ones she loved, and very compassionate. She was selfless and loved her family very much.
The family moved from N.Y. to Florida since June of 1980, where she began elementary school at Lauderhill Paul Turner Elementary, and graduated at 18 years old from Plantation High School. She earned an Associate’s degree in Business Management, and continued school earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ashwood University. With a passion for health and fitness, she was also a certified yoga instructor. Some of Thimitra’s other passions included: modeling and journalism. She was a reporter for a news/entertainment show called “Girls Night Out”.
Thimitra became a mother at 34 years of age to her loving daughter Evahnka Micale LaRoche (known to the family as Evie, Vankas, BoucheBouche, Butternut, Bubble face, Boops, Moshka and more), who is now 4 years old going on twenty. Evahnka was her world.
Thimitra grew up happy and healthy with the support of family and friends. Her troubles began in adulthood when she was diagnosed with Endometriosis and Uterine Cancer Cells. Due to a hormone imbalance, she later developed depression and anxiety. These illnesses continued to progress despite her medical attention and treatment. For the last fifteen years, she was fighting a battle stronger than she could handle, which brought us to this sorrowful situation.
Didi was loved by us all and will be missed dearly. We pray that God will give her a peaceful rest. We trust in God and leave her in God’s hands.
