Condolences

Condolence From: Laguna Family
Condolence: We are so sorry for the loss of your dear Father and our sincerest condolences to the family and specially to Butch. Trials such as this one can be unbearable and God knows the effect that extreme distress can have on his worshipers and He like a loving parent who holds and comforts a child in distress, He is near to his worshipers who cry out to him for help, He is eager to comfort you and soothe your broken heart and crushed spirit and He can give you the wisdom and strength needed to cope with this difficult time you are going through.(Psalms 34:18) Our compassionate God knows that at such times, we need him more than ever, and he is near.
Keep relying on him and He will sustain you.

Condolence From: Marta Hudgins
Condolence: Chuck,
You were always the person who could fill a room with laughter. I remember bringing Charlie home from the hospital and as a new mom I was terrified. You and Diane reassured me I would be a great mom and always offered to take the night shift. I won't forget the wisdom and stories you shared. I won't forget dancing around the house. I won't forget your singing was always in tune. I won't forget the patience you had when teaching me to hunt and fish. I won't forget when I talked you into walking around like a chicken at the hunting club (and we thought no one was watching). I won't forget the love and kindness you shared with everyone around you. I won't forget the values you instilled in your grandson Charlie. He has grown up to be a wonderful man just like his Papa which makes me such a proud mom. I won't forget anything...I promise! You will be dearly missed. Love you

Condolence From: Butch
Condolence: Chuck-O

You are and were the most amazing Father any boy could ever hope to have. Dad you were involved in every aspect of my life from the time I was born at Hollywood Memorial Hospital to the day you left from Hollywood Memorial Hospital to be in heaven with Jesus.

You were learning to ride bicycle, building a ten foot high bike, little league baseball coach, hunting, fishing, camping out in the middle of the everglades for weeks at a time, coaching me through all phases of growing up in a world that seemed so big and uncertain at times, most of all always a Godly example of what a man should be.
This next chapter of my life without you here seems so uncertain once again, however I know that I know you and Jesus will always be there for me and knowing how to stay connected with the Lord will be my strength and guidance for these next years. Knowing that the God that created the universe has my best interest at heart is priceless and I have you Dad to thank for instilling that in me. The hope that is in him for us to be together again one day for eternity is the best gift you could have ever given me.
I called you two or three times a day sometimes for the last ten years. Every time we ended a phone call you said, God Bless You Son, I Love You. And God has blessed me Dad because of you. I will miss you for a while, but every time I think of you I will smile, even though the tears. Thank you for being the best dad you could have ever been.

George Straight sang it best,
I thank God that you were the best dad you didn’t have to be. And pray that I will be half the man/dad that you didn’t have to be.
Love you and see you soon

Your Loving Son
Butch
